Scott worked both in the field with a mechanical contracting firm and as a CAD drafter while pursuing his formal education in mechanical engineering. His field experience has given him the ability to see a systems practical application and assessment during the design process, which is a valuable perspective for our clients. Scott received his BSME from Pensacola Christian College in 1996. He has over 20 years of engineering experience with an extensive background in both HVAC and Electrical systems. Scott began his engineering career as a Mechanical Engineer. He then moved into a Senior Project Manager position and eventually became a Managing Principal while at Kamm Consulting before co-founding Promus in August 2009. Scott enjoys spending time with his family and is an active member of Calvary Baptist Church of Smyrna, GA, where he is a member of the choir. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, especially in the Fall.
Darin has over 20 years of engineering experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Darin received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pensacola Christian College in 1996. He has an extensive background in both the HVAC and electrical fields which provides a single source for client consultation and interaction. Darin started his engineering career as an HVAC designer for a contracting firm and later moved into HVAC sales. His sales experience has helped him develop needs assessment skills valuable to our clients. He began working for Kamm Consulting in 1997 as a Mechanical Designer and moved into a Senior Project Manager role in 1998. In 2006 he moved to Atlanta and became a Managing Principal for Kamm Consulting before co-founding Promus, Inc. in 2009. His client focus and role as client advocate throughout the project cycle add immeasurable value to the overall solution. Darin enjoys golfing and hunting, among other sports. He also enjoys traveling with his two sons for hunting trips and the occasional white water rafting trip. Darin is an active member of First Redeemer Church in Alpharetta, GA where he plays the cello for his church orchestra.
George received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technical Science in Novi Sad, Serbia in 1997. George has over 15 years of engineering experience in mechanical and plumbing systems. He began his career working with a mechanical contracting firm and moved into a Senior Mechanical Designer position before joining Promus in September 2011. George is a highly-motivated problem-solver, always looking to expand his knowledge base, abilities, and usefulness. During his time away from the office George enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball and baseball. He also coaches a local recreational league for his town.
Rob received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005. Rob has more than 14 years of engineering experience in electrical protection and control systems. He began as an electrical engineer with Factory Automation Systems in Atlanta, GA. He then became a Field Test Engineer with Georgia Power Company and later became a Senior Design Engineer with Southern Company Services. He joined Promus in April 2016. Rob is a family man, enjoying sports, outdoors, movies and games with his wife and 6 children. He is involved at Calvary Baptist Church in teaching the pre-school choir and a children’s Sunday school class. Playing basketball and running are some good stress-relieving hobbies, as well as the occasional hunting or hiking trip. Ham radio and home improvement are squeezed in from time to time, along with a good deal of reading.
Ted has over 17 years of engineering design experience in electrical systems in addition to over 13 years of field experience in electrical contracting. After receiving his certification as an electrician from Lyons Technical Institute, he began his career working as a field electrician in New Jersey and eventually acquiring his NJ State Electrical Contracting License. After relocating to Florida, where he was employed by a commercial electrical contracting firm as a project foreman, he decided to take his experience to the engineering office. Ted joined Promus in August 2012. His field experience has given him the ability to see a system’s practical application and assessment during the design process, which is a valuable perspective for our clients. During his time away from the office, Ted likes spending it with his wife and three children. They enjoy traveling for family functions and vacations. Ted also enjoys the outdoors, biking and music.
Stephen received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bob Jones University in 2013. He joined Promus in October 2013. Stephen is an active member at Victory Baptist Church, loves the Florida Gators, coaching high school basketball at his alma mater in Jacksonville, FL, and passing time with wood working projects!
Kurt received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pensacola Christian College in 2014 and joined Promus in June 2014. Kurt enjoys his work and loves being with his family throughout the day. His hobbies include tennis, piggyback rides, and beard-grooming.
Ryan is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Ryan joined Promus in June 2015. Ryan enjoys playing and watching just about any sport. He likes to fill his weekends with camping, shooting, snowboarding, eating, woodworking, or helping his dad on the farm.
Brandon received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pensacola Christian College in 2014 and joined Promus in August 2017. He is excited to bring his experience in commissioning, controls, and facility management. Brandon enjoys traveling with his wife, backpacking in the Shenandoah mountains, and home improvement. He loves to learn and is always up for a challenge.
Connor joined Promus in September 2015. Connor is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Liberty University. Connor brings his ability to innovate and adapt to Promus by developing new business technologies which allow Promus to maximize the work from home concept. He serves Promus in both the Electrical department as well as providing Technical support to the team. Stewardship is a core tenant of Connor’s principles. He aims to serve well both at work and at home. Connor enjoys any activity if it is with friends, family, or his dog.
Sasha joined Promus in October of 2018. He received a Master of Science in Mechanical engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia in 1998, and a Master of Science in Material Engineering at the University of Trento, Italy in 2006. He has over 20 years of experience in 3D design, CFD and FEA simulations. He has been married for 20 years and has two children. He enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and going to the gym.
Justin received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. Upon graduation, he entered into the engineering design world touching projects in multiple market sectors. Justin enjoys relaxing with family, watching/playing sports, as well as modifying cars when spare time is available.
Jessica Dunlop is our Office Administrator who is excited to be part of a company that shares many of her core values and allows her to work from home with her children. She comes to us from a background in administrative work for a pharmaceutical printing company. Jessica is excited to join Promus in a part-time capacity to be able to focus more on her two young children, help her husband as he is in seminary, and be able to continue to work while beginning the process of raising support to head to the mission field down the road. Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Grace Baptist Bible College in 2012. She is an active member of Palmetto Baptist Church in Powdersville, SC and enjoys serving others through various ministries in the church. She enjoys playing at the park with her family, drinking a good home-roasted cup of coffee, and reading.
